Clear from the start
How access and billing work.
The trial does not turn into a paid subscription automatically. After it ends, you choose whether to check out and pay for your first monthly or annual period. Your selected price and billing interval are shown before you pay.
A paid subscription renews automatically at the selected monthly or annual price. Stripe charges on each renewal date unless you cancel first. You can cancel online from your teacher account at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals, and classroom access continues through the paid-through date shown in your account. We do not give a partial-period refund for cancellation, except where required by law.
If a trial ends without checkout or a renewal remains unpaid after the current paid period, teacher and related student classroom access pauses. We keep the unpaid classroom data for 90 days from suspension, notify you when access pauses and at least seven days before classroom deletion, and may permanently delete it after that period. Paying during the retention period restores access, subject to plan limits. A voluntary cancellation does not itself start this unpaid-data deletion process.

When does the 14-day trial begin?
It begins at the exact time professional teacher verification is approved.
Do I need a payment method to start?
No. Payment information is not collected up front. Checkout is required to continue when the trial ends.
Can I change plans during the trial?
Yes. Choose Core or Studio and monthly or annual billing from your teacher account before Checkout. Your original trial dates do not change. Switching to Core requires your current classrooms and student seats to fit Core's limits.
Do students pay separately?
No. Student access is supplied through an active teacher classroom and stays within that teacher plan's classroom and seat limits.
What happens if payment is not completed?
Teacher plan access and the student access supplied by those classrooms pause after the trial or already-paid period ends. We keep the unpaid classroom data for 90 days from suspension, notify you when access pauses and at least seven days before classroom deletion, and may permanently delete it after that period.
What happens if I cancel?
Your subscription will not renew. Your teacher account shows the exact date and time your paid classroom access will end. You can keep using it until then. We do not give a partial-period refund for cancellation, except where required by law.
